چکیده

The search for environmentally correct fuels has been gaining momentum/prominence in scientific research, example, using oils or fats of animal/vegetable origin and commercial/residual oils. These consist primarily free fatty acids with high energy power can be converted into acid esters (biodiesel) highly efficient recyclable heterogeneous catalysts. Among the catalysts most used conversion biodiesel, two are worth mentioning: MoO3 ferrospinels. first is because it contains its structure, especially orthorhombic, acidic active sites Lewis Brönsted-Lowry, second they have specific surface areas adequate magnetic characteristics that allow recovery medium. Another interesting point use residues catalysis highlighted, as materials contain metals such Fe, K, Si, Mg, Na, Ti their composition, which accelerate reactions. Thus, this sense, article proposes to carry out a bibliographical survey literature experimental papers published reviews on ferrospinels supported waste from cut ornamental rocks (granite/marble) production core search, online data platforms Science Direct (Elsevier) Web covering period 2016 April 2023, Start software (State Art through Systematic Review). results revealed quantitative 223 articles general, 62 were accepted, 161 rejected. While review extraction stage, 22 40 In addition, catalytic supports biodiesel oxides, nothing specifically informing cuts host material (support) aiming biodiesel. Therefore, meaning not possible type residue support catalysts, but rather there may lack research investigating application.

A packed bed membrane reactor for production of biodiesel using activated carbon supported catalyst.

In this study, a novel continuous reactor has been developed to produce high quality methyl esters (biodiesel) from palm oil. A microporous TiO2/Al2O3 membrane was packed with potassium hydroxide catalyst supported on palm shell activated carbon. The central composite design (CCD) of response surface methodology (RSM) was employed to investigate the effects of reaction temperature, catalyst amo...

Biodiesel Production over nano-MgO Supported on Titania

Nano-MgO was successfully deposited on titania using deposition-precipitation method. The catalyst produced was characterised using FTIR, XRD, BET and XRF and its activity was tested on the transesterification reaction of soybean oil to biodiesel. The catalyst activity improved when the reaction temperature was increasedfrom 150 and 225 C. It was also observed that increasing the reaction time ...

Biodiesel Production from Palm Oil using Heterogeneous Base Catalyst

In this study, the transesterification of palm oil with methanol for biodiesel production was studied by using CaO–ZnO as a heterogeneous base catalyst prepared by incipient-wetness impregnation (IWI) and co-precipitation (CP) methods. The reaction parameters considered were molar ratio of methanol to oil, amount of catalyst, reaction temperature, and reaction time. The optimum conditions—15:1 ...

Correction to " Global Sale of Green Air Travel Supported Using Biodiesel " — the Fossil Fuel Consumption Associated with Biodiesel Production Fossil Fuel Consumption Associated with Biodiesel Production

Current biodiesel production practices entail the consumption of fossil fuels. The original proposal for green air travel supported using biodiesel (Wardle 03), included a mechanism to offset this consumption, so that the resulting green air travel was, in effect, " fossil free. " It is now recognized that the mechanism was not properly designed, and, in the present paper, a revised mechanism i...

Biodiesel production from soybean oil using ionic liquid as a catalyst in a microreactor

In the present study, Choline hydroxide (ChOH) as an ionic liquid catalyst was used for transesterification of soybean oil into biodiesel in a microchannel reactor. The effects of three variables i.e. reaction temperature, catalyst dosage and total flow rate on fatty acid methyl ester (FAME) content (wt. %) were optimized using Box–Behnken experimental design. In order to predict the FAME conte...
